Joshep Newman is a family man and farmer in a Farstrider settlement until the Horde breaks out in the period called the First Wave of Invasion (12351 – 12356 AD).
From that moment, Joshep is forced to fight like a soldier and leads the defense of his settlement. He manages to resist the Horde troops for four years until the Erkos soldiers besiege and destroy the defenses, killing all the citizens of the settlement.
